Our Purpose
Junior Auxiliary represents a serious endeavor on the part of women to be active and constructive community participants and to assume leadership roles while meeting community needs.
Some of our service projects include: Share the Warmth (coat drive), Sensory Paths, Autism Acceptance, Adopt a Classroom and our Crown Scholarship.
We are an inclusive organization that provides our members with the opportunity to serve and be a vital part of their community.

About Us
As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, the Junior Auxiliary of Hancock County, MS is dedicated to the welfare of the children and families of Hancock County.
A Chapter of the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries, Inc., we received our official charter in 2019. Since then, our Chapter has received multiple national awards, including the Martha Wise Award and the Mary Carole Bowers Outstanding Service Project Award.
Our Members
Members commit to five active years of community service. In addition to performing service work throughout the year, members also attend monthly chapter meetings and participate in education opportunities to improve their volunteering skills and effectiveness.
Any woman 21 years of age or older is eligible to apply for membership. We accept applications for provisional membership each year between May 15th and August 15th. Provisional members are elected by the Chapter at our September meeting.
Provisional members who complete provisional training are inducted as active members of our Chapter at our April meeting.
